watching sunlight

Watching Sunlight is about the experience of settling into a natural environment where the impact of humans is less apparent, and what is centered instead is the sunlight, and plants moving in the wind. I love this experience. It is about my body and nervous system having an opportunity to attune to the the language of sunlight reflected on water, or on the sea plants below the surface. There's an opportunity to slow down and expand into a rhythm of the elements. As I search for connection in this world, finding moments to connect with the natural world and truly nurture how pleasurable it is to watch reeds blow in the wind, this experience of settling, attuning, and listening has brought me a deep sense of connection to place and earth. The volume fades, and the cuts become longer throughout this short video, to help displace the sensation of arriving in places like these.
